With ten seconds left in the close game which would decide who would face the Eagles in the Conference Finals, Case Keenum launched up a prayer to Stefon Diggs.
Diggs came up with the catch and you can see what happens next.

SB Nation Radio
Marcus Williams, the safety for the Saints completely misses the tackle and instead tackles his own teammate which erased any chance of Diggs being caught. Diggs walked in for the touchdown with all zeros on the clock.
The worst part about this is Marcus Williams had a stellar rookie season that completely flew under the radar for the past 4 months, and now he will be remembered for that one bad play.
Marcus Williams may have made a bad play in the playoffs, but he is not alone. These are 5 more horrible playoff fails.
5. Leon Lett Fumble
Oh, Leon Lett. Why? Why couldn't you just have walked in for a touchdown? Why did you have to celebrate?
After Bills Quarterback Jim Kelly fumbled the ball Leon Lett picked the ball up and this happened.

Total Pro Sports
He could have just run in for a touchdown, but instead he put his arm out, leaving the ball unprotected and this allowed Bills Wide Receiver Don Beebe to strip the ball at the 3 yard line and force a touchback.
Come on Leon. Smh. This was the Super Bowl. Luckily for the Lett and the Cowboys, this mishap didn't cost them as they still won the Super Bowl with a score of 30-13.
4. Mile High Miracle
This play is probably the closest thing to the play that we saw during the Vikings and Saints game.
The Mile High Miracle as it is named.
Ravens were down 7, with 40 seconds left in the game , 70 yards away ,that would decide who would go on to the AFC Conference Championship this happened.

The Broncos completely blow the coverage and Rahim Moore misses the ball and Jacoby Jones is able to catch the pass and walk into the endzone.
The Ravens went on to win this game in overtime and ultimately go on to win the Super Bowl.
Oh, what it could have been.
3. Romo's Botched Hold
Oh dear, this was one of the worst moments of Romo's Career. Romo never was able to go far in the Playoffs. This may be one reason why. The Cowboys were at the 2 yard line, setting up for a chip shot field goal, that would most likely send them to the next round. The game was all but over. The Cowboys just had to kick the field goal and win the game. Except this happened instead.

Romo had a lot of bright spots in his career, but this was definitely not one of them.
Romo caught the snap, and everything was going as planned, but he simply lost control of the ball. There was absolutely no excuse for this. Then Romo tried to run the ball in, and was tackled at the 2 yard line. There was 1 minute left in the game and this allowed the Seahawks to move on.
The snap wasn't too clean either, but this is something Romo can't mess up.
Romo is going to have to live with this for the rest of his life.
2. Brett Favre Interception
Brett Favre is one of the Greatest Quarterbacks of all time, but even the all time greats make mistakes. With ten seconds left and the Vikings in field goal range Brett Favre took the snap and this happened.

If Favre just threw the ball out of bounds, or even ran for a few yards the Vikings would have probably won the game, and advance to the Super Bowl. Instead Brett Favre threw into traffic and got intercepted by Tracy Porter. The game went into overtime and this allowed the Saints to make the Super Bowl it, and end up winning it too.
It could have been Favre's.
1. James Harrison Pick-Six
I always say that if there is a bad moment, there is always a good moment too. This is one of the best and one of the worst plays in NFL history, depending on the way you look at it. In Super Bowl 43 the Steelers were going up against the high powered Cardinals.
There was 18 seconds left in the first half, with the Cardinals at the 3 yard line. You can't explain what happened. You will just have to see it.

Muthead
Kurt Warner threw a unexcusable interception. James Harrison caught the ball and ran all the way to the endzone for a pick-six with all zeros on the clock. This was the longest pick-six in Super Bowl history.
The Steelers ended up winning the Super Bowl 27-23. If Kurt Warner didn't throw this pick-six the result of the game may have been different. Warner could have instead threw a touchdown, or get at least a field goal.
This Pick-Six is arguably the Greatest Playoff Fail/Greatest Playoff play of all time.
